"Had a lovely Sunday lunch for my grandparents anniversary. Good and service were very excellent! We had to ask how they cooked the cauliflower as it was very nicely done."
"Stopped by for a quick Sunday roast. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious and in large portions. Will definitely return!"
"absolutely beautiful! Welcoming friendly staff nothing is to much trouble for them! even went the extra mile to make me a dessert that wasn't on the main menu to cater to my gluten intolerance, complements to the chef also! Best steak we have ever eaten. Already can't wait to come back!"
"Nice pub and friendly staff. Visited with a group of 10 people at lunch for a chip butty but the service was so SLOW we had a drink and left. Regulars I felt were served first and there were no menus on the tables, you had to look on the walls across other people drinking which is rather rude. There is a restroom, parking and outside seating for summer days. As a little bit of history there is a small historical village jail across from the pub which is worth a look at"
"I've driven by a few times before and it's always looked busy. Popped in today without booking, there wasn't a table available in the restaurant, but we're welcome to sit in the bar area or garden. I'd advise booking if you knew you were going! Food was amazing, can't rate it highly enough. Very reasonably priced too for saying the quality of it all. Would recommend to anyone in the area!"
