"Great parking, easy access points. Well designed layout of bar, appropriate decoration and comfy feel to the different zones. Only stopped off for a drink for a reunion with friends, drinks were OK a d reasonably priced. My reason for the 4 stars is because when I visited the toilets the lights would not turn on/weren't turned on, this was at 5 o'clock on an autumnal evening, making things a little tricky!"
"Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We turned up without a reservation but were seated with no problem. The food was delicious, especially the lamb shank and the price was very reasonable. The only downside is we are only in the area for 1 night. Highly recommended."
"Good food. Nice staff. Plenty of parking, just be careful you don't miss the turning! The food was hot, good sized portions and well presented. £50 for x2 starters, x3 mains, x2 bottled ale, x3 large and x4 regular soft drinks so not bad value. Hadn't booked but that wasn't a problem, able to pick a free table. Plenty of space in the garden which would be nice on a warm evening. It became extremely loud (swearing) whilst we were there which was unfortunate. However, we would go back and would recommend popping in for a bite and/or drink."
"So good visited twice in one week. I have never gone to the same place for lunch twice in one week but the Cricketers is like a home from home. I took my mum, daughter and friend as a treat. Again staff exceptional. Met by Lou, who was very much in control, efficient, friendly and accommodating. She did not mind that my daughter was arriving late due to car breakdown. The restaurant was busy but the waitresses, Katie and Larisa were friendly and patient. Food delivered in good time and to a high quality. Would recommend a visit."
"This pub has gone down hill. Very popular, and great sunny garden with lots of tables. Food was poor quality. The gammon steaks were good value but very fatty. It was more like pork belly ! The chips were over cooked. Friendly staff but let down by the quality of food and drink. I was served ale in a dirty glass. It was pretty grim."
