"I understand stocking at all supermarkets has been impacted majorly in 2022 but this store is regularly poorly stocked on all departments. Had some of the worst customer service at the tills I've ever experienced from some of the staff here, food thrown down the till once scanned (I'll always take my time packing), grumpy and passive aggressive cashiers grunting and groaning (not them all). I've seen how the manager deals with customer complaints/store staff face to face (just as poor as his appearance) so I can see why the cashiers are led by example. 1 star based on a conversation the manager was having with a member of staff I overheard on one visit, plum! Won't be back!"
"Me and my partner have just been absolutely humiliated by the male cashier on till 6. My partner had picked up a couple of donuts not knowing how much they were and when we realised that we didn't have enough for them I asked 3 times to put them back before the cashier loudly said" don't you know how much they are everything has gone up just deal with it" and this was in front of other people in the cue I couldn't believe it I was so embarrassed I can't believe that in this time when everyone is struggling he can treat someone like that I walked out in tears!"
"Not the best Lidl I've ever been to. Fruit & Veg: Out of date on the shelves - sometimes by weeks. Rotten veggies or melons on sale regularly. Meat is good, Seafood is good"
"This NEW Lidl is AT least TWICE the size of their old store!! But for those of you familiar with their old store there is NO need to worry-as it is only 100 yards away from their OLD store on the opposite side of Wellington Road. This NEW store has a MUCH better car park and also has MANY more "Disabled Parking" and "Parent & Child Parking". As well as the usual TERRIFIC offers from Lidl this NEW store has an AWFUL lot more choice too-including amongst other things an "IN-STORE" Bakery. It also has Customer Toilets which INCLUDE specifically toilets for "Disabled" customers and "Parent & Baby" toilets too!!"
