"Coffee and cake nice, setting good BUT the staff need to put a smile on their face and BE NICE! It’s incredible every time there is never a polite welcome or nice interaction. I know times are tough but you are front of house and represent a brand…albeit a coffee shop but still. This morning I felt like I was inconveniencing of the girls! Even the older guy during the week isn’t overly polite. CHEER UP! It’s not cheap either so that overall experience is poor. The coffee saves it as well as it’s central location."
"Really good coffee and cake selection. I enjoyed our lemon drizzle and cappuccino cakes immensely"
"Never heard of this coffee shop chain, but apparently it had been voted best coffee chain some time recently. Anyway, vein nice latte, mocha and sweet bites to be had in a pleasant setting. Especially handy on an unexpectedly reading Sunday afternoon."
"Great coffee - according to my husband. Great tea, according to me and cheerful service. Also love the smoothies especially the Pina Colada and the green one which I love. Try the hot apple drink with cinnamon and cream, it’s a bit like drinking an apple pie! Also we are totally addicted to the little Portuguese tarts the ones with the raspberries in… they just hit the spot and aren’t too big if you just want a little treat. I definitely recommend… oh and the apricot turnover is delicious and I almost forgot to mention they do doggycino’s and they have free doggy biscuits too."
"A great coffee spot in the square, open for take out during lockdown. Incredibly lovely and friendly staff, and the best Pasteis de Nata - Portuguese custard tarts - around! This small chain is a worthy rival of independents and chains alike. I’m definitely swayed."
