"Organised my Dad's 70th birthday party. The Stead Inn is now under new owners. They put on a fantastic hot and cold buffet of the standard traditional party food and some delishious Indian treats and sauces. Everyone was impressed with the food. The DJ was great and played a veriaty of music to suit all tastes. Enjoyable evening had by all."
"Went here for a meal, drinks and to see The Bash Street Kids cover band. Started off with some locally produced Potterton beers and lager from Bodachra Brewing. We all had a taste of whatever we all had ordered and I found the Citrus Gold to be the one for me. Ordered up food from the menu and sank a few more beers. The menu is only a couple of pages and is traditional pub grub. I opted for a Chicken Maryland and it was great. Really enjoyed it. Only small gripe was that we had a bit of a wait but it was quite busy so it's to be expected. Staff are a great laugh and really helpful and friendly. Overall, a great cosy bar with friendly staff, great food and drink. I highly recommend after my experience."
