"This is the most amazing craft shop. If you want REAL AUTHENTIC wool products from sheep to shoulders ect, this is the place. Every time I go to Ireland I do my shopping there. I came back just last week with 3 more shawls, lots of jewelry and wool sock and sheep ornaments, along with stained glass. Prices are right customer service is excellent. Hope you stop in at Boyne Valley Wools. Ask to see her demonstrations on the wheel."
"Cute little shop with a variety of craft products by local artists. Alison raises a unique breed of sheep, and she'll be happy to introduce you to a couple of them before demonstrating the whole process of carding and spinning yarn, which she does in the shop. She sells her hand spun yarn and knitted items. We stayed at one of her AirBnB rentals in the farm and the whole experience was fantastic. You can see the Newgrange passage tomb from your window. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the Bru na Boinne area."
"Very nice and cozy place down the street from the Newgrange historical site. The lady who lives and makes the handmade scarves, belts and other knits is very nice and friendly. There are so many nice and authentic gifts here, we bought something for everyone back home after coming here, the sheeps were very cute and the piggie. Such a pleasant experience, I will definitely be coming back here for more things on our next trip here! Thank you!"
"Absolutely amazing little shop! The lovely sheep are out front (I stopped to give them a pat) and when you walk in you see Alison spinning their wool! She was happy to give us a demonstration and she also had her looms out and explained about the different weaving techniques. I bought a beautifully soft shawl made with wool from her sheep and some lovely cashmere. A unique and authentic experience!"
