"What a beautiful experience from the expertise of Grays. From the beginning to end. We are so delighted with our forever beautiful ring. Thank you Dolores"
"Simply awful service. We bought our wedding rings from here and experienced a catalogue of errors from Grays. Firstly, were told it would take 1-2 weeks to resize the rings. After 3 weeks we called and were told they'd check with the workshop and call back. They didn't. So 2 days later we went in and were told they'd tried ringing but the number they had for us must be wrong (we checked what they'd written down... the number they had for us was correct). A week later we went in to collect and they'd done both rings shiny rather than one shiny and one matt (despite the instructions on the envelope that contained the rings being correct). A further week later we went in again and they'd done BOTH rings matt! The piece de resistance was when the cost was €800 rather than the €6-700 we'd been quoted. The elderly lady who served us (I suspect the owner) then shouted at us, threw the card machine on the counter and said they'd done nothing wrong! Made what should have been a lovely experience into a rotten day. Also worth pointing out that in the 10mins we spent in the shop with the mean owner, another gentleman came in to complain, so this is clearly not a one-off. Dreadful."
"Very disappointed with my experience in Grays recently. I purchased an amethyst and diamond ring in memory of my late Mum. She gifted me money for my last birthday before she died, and I wanted to put it towards something I would have forever. The ring needed to be resized, which initially took a few days longer than I was expecting. When my husband collected the ring on my behalf, and I tried it on, I was disappointed to see that it had been sized to the incorrect size, and needed to be done again. I dropped it back in, and again it took over a week to get resized. I received a message saying it was ready for collection on the Monday night, so I headed to the store to collect it on the Tuesday morning. When I arrived at the shop at approximately 10.50am, it was closed, despite the website saying it opened at 10.30am. I rang the store - no answer. I then rang the number from the text message and was told its a typo on the website and it opens at 11am. I eventually collected it, brought it home, tried it on the next morning, less than 24 hours after collecting it, and noticed there was a diamond missing. Surely the jewellers should have checked the setting of the stones before releasing the piece? I brought it back and got a refund. Very disappointing, as my the piece was very sentimental to me. I don't know if I'll shop here again."
"Fantastic selection of Jewelry. I spotted a piece in the window and instantly loved it. Staff were absolutely brilliant and even happy to hold onto the piece for a few days til I came back. I did arrive at 10am only to discover the store was closed until noon. When we completed the purchase we got a surprise gift from the staff to celebrate our purchase which was a lovely touch. It gets 5 Stars because overall the experience was superb. The staff know how to treat their customers and there was never any push to make the purchase. Even if I didn't make the purchase I would still give 5 Stars."
"This was one of the nicest experiences we had, while visiting from Canada. I went to a number of shops, that carry estate jewellery, but was so impressed with this one. The stock was really beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond the call of duty .... we enjoyed tea and cake, a complimentary manicure (to show off the lovely rings purchased there) and a warm, friendly conversation with Dorothy, Lidia and Sarah. It is wonderful to see a family business that is loved and carried on in such a fine way - Thank you, ladies❤️"
