"I would advise anyone to avoid using this agent for selling your property at all costs. Where do I start!?!? After Coley listing my rental property for sale in June 2022, i was concerned that after 4 whole weeks the property hadn’t had a single viewing. After voicing my concerns on this matter I was advised that the market was slow. I informed them that I would have to consider another agent to help sell if nothing improved but would give them the benefit of the doubt and stayed solely with Coley for an additional 6 weeks where only 3 viewings took place. I had to chase for feedback on all three of these viewings and sometimes my calls were not even returned. I expressed to Coley that I was frustrated that my calls and e-mails were not being returned and unfortunately this made no difference, communication was still poor. At this point I had lost all faith and decided to enrol another agency in Rushden to sell the property for me. In the first week alone the new agents had more viewings than Coley had in 10 weeks! The property then sold in 2.5 weeks and I was informed the buyer had tried to book an appointment with Coley to view and her calls were not returned. I also have a suspected belief that the property whilst being managed for rental with Coley was being sub-let. I believe this due to finding after the tenants had left, post was arriving for several males with varying surnames. The living room was turned into a bedroom and had a lock fitted to it with a reflective film placed on the glass of the door. A contractor I had carrying out work also noted 2 males regularly leaving the property daily for several days. The letting contract was made for a male & female working couple with children. Once the property was listed with another agent, Coley became almost impossible to communicate with. They didn’t even inform me when the tenants vacated the property! Obtaining paperwork (warranties/certificates) that Coley had arranged contractors to provide work on the property for proved very difficult to receive copies of. It took 6 weeks in one instance to obtain the warranty for the installation of a new hob carried out this year. My experience with Coley has been appalling, they made what can already be a very stressful process significantly more stressful. Please consider heavily before contacting these guys to provide any service for you."
