"Took my Georgian grandfather clock for repair in July. Had to chase to find out what was happening. Agreed repair estimate in August. 21st October collected. Clock not repaired, but cleaned instead (not agreed) and told that they cannot repair the clock. Charged £40 for the clean. Likened it to sending a table for a repair because it was missing a leg, and getting it back with the leg missing, but polished instead. Challenged this charge, but had to pay to get my clock back. As a result, cancelled other work and order for a gold ring, but was just shrugged at and told the owner insisted."
"My Mother purchased a sekonda ladies watch in January, unfortunately the winder has broke. So my Mother returned to the shop yesterday 2nd April to have the watch repaired or replaced or even a refund and she would have brought another watch..... Only to be told by a very rude sales woman that the watch had been badly abused was beyond repair and that my Mother should return the watch to the manufacturer ! My Mother was gobsmacked by the attitude and lack of customer care. Disgraceful"
"Unbelievably rude. I went into the shop to look at rings for a present, I wasn't sure what I wanted and was naive enough to think the assistant might want to help. How wrong I was. She was very dismissive and made me feel very uncomfortable. I left without buying anything."
"Went here today to look at rings. The woman serving me was really rude and abrupt. Was going to go back and buy the ring. But decided to go elsewhere. Update 7th November. Went to H Samuel. Got lovely service and bought 2 rings,no rudeness or anything. Lady was very polite. They will be getting a 5 star review. Ps even a member of my family said how rude you are."
