"Good menu, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. There's parking available both at the front and back - spacious inside and can hold a fair amount of people. The food was enjoyable , lovely fries and great curry . I liked the vegetable cutlet along. Thai curry doesn't come with rice and also I'd not agree that it is as a Thai curry but it was well cooked. All of us enjoyed our food. Very friendly staff. There's some outdoor seating and well which will be great during the summers"

"We eat here a lot and have never had a bad meal. New owners are very welcoming. We had our 40th anniversary meal with friends and everything was amazing. No microwave food all freshly cooked. Have just been for New Year’s Day roast and everything was freshly prepared. All the village pubs are amazing and we are very lucky to have them in the current situation with pubs having a very hard time. Remember to support your local community other you might lose it."

"My son and his wife just moved to Buckden we definitely won’t be going back here! Food terrible!! Avoid at all costs! Prawn cocktails I could of done better, sea bass and risotto bland and watery not cooked properly, profiteroles from the freezer microwave up! Service slow 2 hours after sitting down still no mains as staff untrained! Terrible! Overpriced came out of there after a supposedly 3 course meal hungry! Overpriced , not a trained chef it can’t be! Avoid at all costs! Toilets dated and very nice! Avoid at all costs what a shame when it could have been our local place to eat!"

"Family meeting and a meal, unfortunately we weren't particularly impressed, first problem was we asked for no ice in our drink, arrived with. Starter was good but then went down hill from then on, main course was delivered to 3 of us but 4th was forgotten. It eventually arrived 10 minutes later with the pasta under cooked and crunchy (inedible). The burger was cremated as was the bacon in it, as if made 3/4 hours previously and left to dry out. Then desserts, well I expect my Eaton mess to be better than a glass full of spray cream and a bit of strawberry sauce and a few crumbs of meringue. I may have expected this food and service if using a cheap road side cafe, however this was a premium priced restaurant."
