"Booked a taxi in advance on a busy night to avoid being left without a way home, and less than an hour before pick up, they cancelled my booking without even letting me know. I was overseas and had no access to wifi and eventually got to a free wifi location to find out they cancelled my booking due to not having a car in the area. Terrible service."
"No drivers available for a scheduled ride 3 hours ahead. Dublin needs Uber❗ Called Central Cabs on Saturday morning July 2, 2022 between 7-8am to schedule a ride to the airport for 10am. The person to whom I spoke advised that they could not take a scheduled ride because they may not have any drivers at that time and I should try calling back closer to the time. I received the same response from two other taxi companies. As I needed to ensure a timely ride to the airport I installed the 'Free Now' app and was able to schedule the ride to the airport I needed on my phone."
"Booked a taxi for 5.45am for a morning flight and taxi was ready and waiting. The driver and the head office called to let me know hed arrived (and to make sure I hadn't overslept!) which was much appreciated. Will be using them again for sure."
"I’ve been using Central Cabs on a daily basis since September 2021.Today is my first day back to work after Christmas and like clockwork my transport arrived on the button at 6.45am. "I booked a taxi to arrive this morning at 4.15am pickup Glasnevin for a 6.30am flight from Dublin airport. After booking I called up again the next day ( last night,the night before) just to double check the booking and the company said no problem a driver was allocated. The taxi was not only late but never showed up at all. I had given my contact details and have received no contact with no apology. Their phone lines are hit and miss and often ring out unanswered and provided no link to track where the cab was ( most other firms offer a website tracking service). Very unprofessional and do not use if you want reliability . I only chose one star to be able to make a rating , in reality I would choose negative stars if available as I see other similar reviews.My friend dug me out of trouble today and drove me.
