"I did the 1-month intensive course here, as an 18 year old student from Amsterdam. I started the course with a slight lack of knowledge in art movements and styles, and as a result of this I was not able to fully identify with my own style in painting. Throughout this course I was exposed to many works, artists, movements and styles of the past that Eoin had handpicked for me based on my personal artistic mood-board. This allowed me to experiment with multiple new elements and eventually gain a clearer view of my own style in painting. Eoin's approach in teaching I felt was adjusted per individual, depending on what the students were looking for as well as their method of understanding. For example, for myself who makes music, Eoin explained the importance in the different use of brush strokes through conceptualising it with elements of music, timbre and tone.
