"Total disaster! Staff walking around like sleeping zombies, manager probably came to work straight from a party with pink leggings. It took me 45 minutes to try 3 pairs of shoes because there was only one guy on shoe department. Every time I asked him about different sizes he just disappeared for 5 or more minutes. Customers were angry and annoyed. One of the customers were talking to the manager but she was rude and helpless. Never again going back here again!"
"If you can avoid to shop here, please do that! I went a few days ago to buy swimming goggles. As usually in this shop, everything was untidy, but I was thinking to my self, I will just buy them and go out. My partner also bought one pair, and she was the one that was paying, and I was waiting. They left the price in pounds. And as you can see from the photo it was £7.99, but she was charged €12.00 because somebody, probably manager, to get an extra bonus put that price in the system. On the weekends, they only have teens working here. She didn't want to argue, she paid and left. Last time when I bought runners there, I am always buying the same Adidas Ligra, after three months they start peeling outside, and inside everything is screw up already! And I am only using them occasionally. AVOID!"
"Most staff are unprofessional. I had a credit note to spend in store picked up leggings priced on sale for €25 but they scanned at €32 at the til I informed the girl and she got the manager. The manager huffed and puffed and as the girl asked why they scanned in as €32 the manager response was “I know they are €32 but im not in the humour of arguing with anyone today”. Staff should be informed of consumer laws and customer service!"
"After very unpleasant visits to this shop I finally learned the lesson of never coming back. Waste of time. The place is always completely unorganised and chaotic, morning to evening. Empty boxes on the shelves, they offer 2 of the same item for a discounted price when there aren't two of the same product. Huh?! No alternative sizes in stock, staff cannot find anything at the back. And this is when you get the privilege of locating a staff in that mess. Finally, even if you do find something useful to buy, prepare to wait 25 min to pay because that's how fast they work. Good luck!"
"Unfortunately this is the closest sports direct to my house so I've had the displeasure of visiting here a handful of times I've never had a single pleasant experience here. I've experienced everything from staff going to check a shoe size for me and never coming back, staff talking to eachother instead of assisting customers, and also just how difficult it is to find a staff member on the floor as there always seems to be so few. What would take most other stores 5 minutes to do will usually take this store 20+ That's not even to mention the quality of the stock (or lack thereof). On the same day I returned a pair of shoes due to inexplicably splitting after 2 days of light wearing, I tried to get buy a particular football Jersey. They had 2 on the shelves, and I came to find both of them had holes and rips from the collar leading down the back that was unknown to the staff. Serious changes needed here."
