"Very unhelpful lady working there. Felt Understaffed too probably why"
"Rude and unhelpful and lack of product knowledge. I walked in here yesterday for advice on cold sore I was told the only thing to put on it was zovirax. I advised the lady behind the counter I had been using this and it’s not working she had no other options and didnt offer any other help to me. I stood looking at her for a few minutes before just walking out. I was made feel like I wasn’t wanted in the place. I went to another Chemist this morning and I treated totally different they have given me a different cream and I feel it working already."
"I took a temp job nearby and I pop in regularly to get my prescription and other bits and my assessment is based off coming in and walking past on a regular basis. The staff and nice, nothing exceptional when if comes to customer service (and I've yet to come across anyone rude except for the pharmacist herself who seems to drill me with questions as if I was in front of a nun or something) but no one was rude as has been described in other reviews. However, the staffing issues are always the same. They have plenty of staff but going in to buy anything at all takes forever. There is never ever more than 1 person on the till and in most cases no one comes out from behind, neither does the person in the beauty area come over to man the till or ask to check anyone out. I've been there before for 10 minutes waiting to get yo the till with the person in the beauty area free and 3 or 4 people in the back only to find that they don't have what I need. They seem to prioritise the prescriptions, or what ever else is going on in the back, and customers be dammed. It's extremely frustrating and I'll be going out of my way from now on to go to a different pharmacist."
"I popped in on consecutive Saturday mornings to get supplies for work, in recent weeks, possibly 3 visits in total. The young lady at the main counter deserves a good review as she was extremely helpful & polite on each occassion. Consistently excellent."
"I had to give one star to get into the review process but they do not even deserve that. Very unhelpful and very rude staff, the only lady who was nice was the very embarrassed lady serving at the counter- who could do nothing but apologiseto me. I can honestly say I will never be crossing their door step again. I had lost my last month from a six month prescription for gastric tablets and had run out . I was going without them for two days until I could get to my doctor for a new prescription but my heart burn had got so bad that I eventually found time to get to the doc for a one. The doctors office told me it would be a few days wait but that the pharmacy would oblige me a couple of days tablets to keep me going. I was ordering my anti-inflammatory tablets and asked would they mind giving me 1 gastric tablet until I got my new prescription but because they noticed I had not bought anything there for about six months- they told me no and to go back to the chemist I last bought my tablets ( I don't know where I bought them last as I go to whatever chemist I can find the time to get to but it's mostly Lloyds.) What hurt the most was, if they looked up my record, they would see that most of mine and my families tablets are always bought in Lloyds. The girl doing up tablets was so rude. She was shouting to me from the back that I had not been here for some time instead of coming down to talk to me and the pharmacist did not even bother to come out either. I then went to another chemist near by on way home, very upset and told him what had just happened and he could not believe it. Thankfully, he very kindly gave me two gastric tablets until I got my prescription. Lloyds even had the audacity to owe me one of my anti-inflammatory tablets. I was so full of rage, that I told them to keep it as I will not be going back to them."
