"We'd joined Pets at Home some months ago and my husband had received a few vouchers, so we picked up a free box of bone shaped biscuits and 40% off a bag of small size dog food. We also got a 12kg of dog food for my daughter's Lhasas which was on offer. Many offers throughout the store."

"Sadly I wouldn't shop here again, anyone buying small animals make sure they definitely do the full checks in front of you. We adopted a rescue guinea pig and 6 weeks later it was dead, he developed an abscess and the vet said his teeth were way too long. I had tried to look but couldn't get in his mouth to see when the abscess was there. I never expected them to be so long, so soon. I've had guinea pigs before and certainly didn't need to look every few weeks.. Contacted the store and spoke to an extremely arrogant manager (which none of the staff had a good word to say about when I purchased the pigs). He did ring me back later to say her would look in to it and I did say I was not after money (despite being 300 pounds in vets bills out of pocket). Not so much as a phone call back off him though, says it all. Stay clear and get your small animals from people who really know about them, and more importantly care. I've learnt a valid lesson and I won't be back."

"Nia was fantastic welcomed usbon entrance and helped us to find everything we needed for our new first puppy. She didn't pressure to buy anything but helped us to choose and advised the best thing for our puppy. She fitted his harness and collar and helped us to sort his coat out. Absolutely brilliant service"

"Went to buy aquarium fish. Young lady was polite but spent more time telling what I couldn’t buy thanks to a online points system that failed to take into account prior experience of the buyer. Why my full address details and contract info are required to purchase aquarium fish is beyond me and Floor manager interrupted and began to ask questions like ‘are you sure this is your postcode’….the fish I’d planned buying were unavailable although happily swimming in front of me. Again the young lady was earnest and polite but it became laughable when I would suggest a a fish and be told oh no that’s over your points….I thanked her and walked away. Frustrating and time consuming misadventure. I’d hate to think what they would need if I planned to buy a bunny."
