"Just a really awful service. Had received an email stating my policy was due to end and to head to the client portal to renew, but don’t have the ability to renew via the portal if you have a guarantor. I rang to arrange for them to call my guarantor on a specific day and had the woman on the phone argue with me because she believed “I had to be with my guarantor to be able to do this” even though I had explained we had been doing it this way for 3 years as my brother lives across the country. She came back after some time to tell me okay someone will call him to renew on my requested day. They attempted on the requested day to be met with an unknown number tone, instead of ringing me to figure it out, they carried on with their day and didn’t do their job. I found out on the day my policy was due to end that it hadn’t been renewed and my guarantor lost an afternoon of work whilst they sorted the renewal with him. Stay clear"
"BEWARE: This is not like your typical insurance premium. You sign up to a Loan Agreement to cover your insurance premium and if you were to cancel you are still liable for the outstanding amount so it is likely you still continue paying even if you no longer have a vehicle! I cancelled and was informed I still owed them over £300!"
"Lexham Insurance is absolutely wonderful, they made my first time getting my bike Insurance go ever so smoothly, with so empathy and significant agility, with getting immediate coverage. The agent I spoke to made me feel so welcome on the phone showing me so much patience and slowly guiding through all my options of cover."
"Would not recommend, terrible customer service. Tried phoning to sort out some issues and was on hold for an hour. Request requested a call back and heard nothing. I called back to talk about the issues I was experiencing, was on hold for 45 minutes before my call was picked up. When I finally spoke to someone, I went over old facts that I had already raised. My documents got sent to the wrong address due to a clerical error on their behalf. I did receive emails stating that 'changes were being made to my policy ' these got picked up by my spam filter so I didn't see them. My cover was then cancelled due to not submitting documents. I had no idea that I needed to. I received no phone call or other means of contact. My policy was roughly £490 for 1 year on a 125 provisional license. I would expect to receive some sort of customer service for this fee. I was refunded roughly £240 for my policy which covered me for 15 days. They said if I could upload my documents they would reincarnate my policy, due to the lack of communication and poor customer service I went elsewhere. My new cover costs me £250 and they pick up the phone within 10 minutes . Tldr: don't use this service, if you ever need to talk to them. They're not there to talk to you. Take your money elsewhere."
"Fine if you never have to phone them (i.e. to renew a policy or move one to a new bike) - but if you do, expect to wait almost an hour on hold for the privilege of giving them money. Waited 45mins last week to get a quote and 43 today trying to go ahead with it. Then reached sales only to be told I had to speak to customer service which had 11 people in the queue in front of me. Still waiting -.- Got through to the sales team at bike sure instantly for the new policy on the old bike. Will definitely look elsewhere once my cover is up."
