"I booked the holiday off a life time to celebrate my 50th birthday through Abbey Travel and I was disappointed. I went through a travel agent so that i could draw on their expertise however i feel that the trip was badly planned by my coordinator. I had issues with connecting flights being cancelled which apparently is the norm over in America, i wish our travel agent had advised us on longer stop over giving us plenty of time to catch our planned cruise, instead we were stranded for hours, managed to get 5 of us on a standby flight the next day, but my my partner missed the cruise as they couldn't fit us all on the standby flight, he spent two days travelling onwards on various flights, transfers and ferries trying to catch up with the cruise, this ruined our Christmas as we were apart for the first time ever. Our coordinator at Abbey Travel tried to blame this on the weather but our flight cancellation had nothing to do with bad weather it was operational and apparently happens regularly in the states. Also when we arrived to our hotel after the cruise the rooms that we had booked and paid for were not available, so another issue with our booking. All in all not a great service would not use Abbey Travel Again"
