"Disgusting how few cashiers there are on a busy Friday night, every single week. Not like they're saving any money since the roof is leaking all over the place, meaning you play trolley slalom around the leak buckets. This used to be the 'better' tesco... Not anymore."
"This Tesco falls far below the standard I’ve come to expect from other tesco stores. The layout is irritating and illogical. For example toilet roll can be found in the seasonal aisle which makes me laugh that this Tesco thinks going to the toilet is a seasonal affair. See photo. Further, some members of staff are rude and will shout down the aisle at you. I’m seriously considering switching my long held allegiance to another store."
"Very unhappy with pharmacy. Recently went to purchase solpadine max for toothache.. I understand the need to be asked a few relevant questions, however the pharmacist questioned how I knew it would help toothache if I’d not had it before. I explained that a friend had recommended it, but he clearly doubted me, he also doubted that I was on any other medication. He was very judgmental and would not sell me the pack of 30. Only the pack of 20 telling me that they should not be taken for more than 3 days. The pack of 20 would not last 3 days if the daily max of 8 tablets were taken. The 30 pack price wise was a better buy. He was judgemental and insinuated I was incompetent. Not happy with how I was treated"
"I tried to purchase some solpadeine from the instore pharmacy. This proved very difficult because of the pharmacist ( Olukayode Amire). He was both rude condescending and swore at me. Plus he came from behind the counter and challenged me. He is a disgrace and shouldn’t be working with the public"
"TESCO PENALISES PENSIONERS. Mid January 2023 sees Tesco's December performance figures released showing year on year growth of several percentage points. Success story ? Perhaps not if you are a pensioner on a fixed income. Take the pre-packs of pork chops. Buy 4 in a pack and you pay the Kilo price listed. Buy 2 in a prepack and you pay the kilo "plus" premium rate. Why ? Easy, buy "more" to gain a better price. Simple yes ? Er' No ! Let's stop there. The real "trick" is being seduced by "Location", an Island - supermarket stand alone site. Your not going to travel a mile or two (or more ) for a pork chop .... Fact. That's the overt. Now, let's check the covert. Pricing structures of myriad complexities preventing easy comparisons - on price per 100grms / Per Kg / per 600grams pack / 10% fat / ..... on and on it goes. However, taking hard nose prices per se, and doing the real "like for like" comparisons...... (Need a calculator) well not surprisingly they come off - not so great. Especially so if your a single mum, battling like crazy to keep all at home fed and so forth. Goes without saying then that pity us pensioners even more so. Fortunately in my case, I was happy to leave without any purchases and make my way to a "better place"..... Morrisons nearer to Town. WOW, what did I find ? A lovely (single) pork chop at the same price per kilo as the rest of the prepacks. Nuff said. This is one pensioner refusing to be "caught out" by insidious marketing. Pity my neighbours."
