"Wasn't sure what to expect for "University accommodation". For a first overnight stay, from the Dublin ferry, location worked perfectly. Beautiful buildings and grounds. A little shabby chic in places but perfectly fine for sleeping. Quiet location (uni summer holidays), right by the High Street and very comfortable. No breakfast but we knew that when booking."
"Staying at the campus was an amazing experience! The territory of the college is huge and you can walk around it, there's also a castle right beside it. The room was very comfortable and the view from the window into the yard was absolutely stunning!"
"What a beautiful place Maynooth campus is. Set in the most tranquil surroundings. The peacefulness just captures you in this historical old setting surrounded by an old orchard and meadows with established woods The place is 225 years and is where priest were once trained. It has so much charm. The staff are very helpful. The campus is visited by lots of overseas students both young and mature and the town caters for this with lots of fun and good varied places to eat. I only gave the room a rating off 3 as mine was the side that overlooked the 24 hour hotel laundrette so there was a droning noise all night. But dont let this put you off( or the night noises from visitors coming and going). Just ask for a room overlooking the front gardens or the woods and not the back by laundry or mechanics for the central heating.( Im guessing). Saying all that you won't be disappointed Maynooth is a lovely town with a river running through it for a great hike."
