"The place wasn't fully clean, there was hairs, white powder (no idea what was that) by the towels, there was a spider in the room... The room was very noisy and you can very much hear the road and cars passing by and the other guests in their rooms. The breakfast was ok, although a bit greasy and no fruit offered (nor healthy option). However, the staff was very friendly and helpful, very nice."
"Our 1st time visit in 2017 was a real treat, helpful staff, nice clean, fantastic breakfast. On our 2nd visit last week thing were a little run down looking, carpet was dirty, looked a little dull, there was some dog poo right outside our window with flies whizzing over it, had to keep windows closed, it got really hot. It just felt a little neglected. Staff were still nice and helpful as last time , still seemed to enjoyed it as it was just for a few nights to sleep, comfy bed, pleasant enough room. What really was a waste of money this time was the breakfast. No selection at all. Almost felt afraid to ask for other things available as staff looked grumpy and fed up. Total ripple off. Looked like new owners in the restaurant. My advice, overall for a cheap nights stay, worth it, decent enough. Don't opt for breakfast, get it elsewhere, even if it costs a bit more you'll probably have more selection and walk out full."
"We called to ask beforehand if we could check in earlier than 3pm as we were going to a function and were told yes, then on arrival at 12.30 we were told it was not possible so we had to go away and come back. My husband left the function at 3.30 to go back to hotel to check in and leave our luggage. On returning to the hotel later that night, we found that our room was a twin room and not a double as booked, it was late and as there was no one at the desk when we came in we had to make do with it. Through no fault of the hotel, we were woken by inconsiderate guests in the early hours moving around rooms and corridor knocking on doors etc no sign if any security monitoring this! So our sleep was interrupted for over an hour. On the plus side, the bed was very clean and comfortable. On checking out , I found it very impersonal and robotic. Receptionist pointed to key drop box and sign for exit key code rhymed off " have a nice day" and disappeared from desk. I felt we were not valued customers we were just a number. The hotel is basic and unwelcoming but is clean and if all you want is a bed you will get a comfortable one here! .would hope I never need to stay in the area again. told yes"
"Good option at reasonable price. The location is pretty far from Dublin city center but there’s bus stops to go and come back quite close to the hotel. The staff is friendly and ready to help at all times. The rooms are nothing out of the ordinary, a little small, but they get the job done. They’ll have all the basics. Clean and comfortable."
"What a pleasant surprise when we stayed here overnight , to be honest not expecting much but were we surprised. Pleasant and comfortable rooms with very luxurious beds. But the best part was the staff who were so pleasant even under stressful conditions that weekend. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful and even the chef came out with topups . Great to see new manager knowing the secrets to good service. We will be back"
