"Location is everything. So, to be fair this hotel is well located in walking distance to many tourist sites, but that’s the highlight. The rooms are small, we stayed in 108 & 112. Although the rooms were clean they were in serious need of updating. The bathroom faucets were loose and would twist while attempting to turn on the hot water. The twin beds in 108 had a sagging mattress that made for an uncomfortable sleep. The lobby area too needs an update, with worn, dirty upholstery and lacking a decent sitting area. The lobby staff were friendly and quick with check in/out process. The bar area too was small and in need of an update. The hotel has no parking and the adjacent parking garage was rather pricey. The pictures on the website along with the location appealed to me when I booked here. We stayed 3 nights, and although the location was good, I would not stay here again. I didn’t get what I paid for."
"Greet location near bars, restaurants and close to Temple Bar area. Rooms are a great size, clean, has all you need. Great hotel bar and breakfast is good (get there early). My room faced a cathedral and if I were a deep sleeper I wouldn't have minded, but the bells go off every hour so that kept me awake. Not the hotel's fault. Otherwise yes I will come back."
"First of all, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Clean, comfortable waiting area while checking-in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless and functional. The breakfast may have been the best food along with the most choices I've ever had at a hotel. The bar is upscale and relaxing. The front desk staff continued to be friendly and greeted you as you passed whether it was midnight or early on the morning. The housekeeping staff was equally as accommodating and friendly. Excellent location for tours, trips, landmarks, and entertainment."
"Great location. We were close to everything and the rooms were QUIET! They had double windows to keep street noise at a minimum. Staff was pleasant. And bar had good food. We did pay a little more to have coffee, water and biscuits each day. My only complaint was I had to keep asking for it. rather than it be in our room. Would stay again."
"This hotels location was perfect for my trip, 90% of my itinerary was within walking distance and for the few places that weren't there was always a taxi waiting outside if I didn't want to take the bus. I also felt very safe in the location, even in the evenings and they did have security on site as well. My room was clean, bed was comfy but noise was a bit of a problem from the hallways and also from outside as I was right above and facing the garbage and recycling bins. I was surprised that the rooms did not offer thermostats and heat was centrally controlled. I usually prefer my room on the warmer side and was pretty cold my first night, but staff were very apologetic and offered me additional blankets which I appreciated. Everyone working the reception desk was great. They were very friendly and quick to respond to all of my inquiries even calling to check in after my first night. I wish I could give this hotel 5 stars just based on their amazing service but on my last night I had left some cash and coins on a dresser along with my makeup and toiletries before heading to dinner. Room service was late that night and when I got back my room was clean but all my cash was gone. I do partially blame myself for leaving it out in the open, but also do not think it was right for whoever it was to steal it, as I did not indicate it was a tip and I still had one more night before check out. This wasn't resolved before I had to check out the next day and is the only incident that put a dent on my experience."
