"In 2021 we noticed that our daughter who has Down Syndrome was being negatively impacted by a number of different sounds. The sea, coffee machines, drills, lawn mowers. It escalated, we couldn't leave the house without ear defenders. She became a flight risk as if she didn't have them with her and if she heard a noise she would take off running. She was 4 at the time. By the time we got to Cluas in April 2022 we had reached a point whereby if the neighbours had a shower late at night, it stopped her from sleeping. We reached out to the Down Right Perfect Group on Facebook to see if anyone had heard of Sound Therapy and were recommended Cluas. Seeing Ronan, there has changed our family life in just four months. When we first arrived in Cluas our daughter was terrified and trying to escape, the difference only a month later made where she played easily in the breakout room while we caught up with Ronan to discuss her progress was amazing. I would recommend that anyone who is experiencing audio processing issues contacts Cluas. As a family we can go out to dinner again, we can go to the beach, we can walk past a garden where they're using a lawn mower and manage the sound without flight. We went to two birthday parties at the weekend. There was loud music and kids everywhere and our daughter was cautious at first but 30 minutes later she joined in the fun. And then she wouldn't leave! I can't recommend it enough."
