"Would highly recommend for smear tests - the staff are lovely and really listen to any fears and concerns, they could not have been more helpful"
"I'm usually a patient of the Liffey street clinic who are so lovely! came to Pembroke Rd as it was closer to work. I went in for a routine visit about my coil the first receptionist was so lovely, I was then waiting 20 mins after my appointment time to see the Dr. she was so cold and abrupt there was no lube on the speculum which was so uncomfortable! when I came out it was a different receptionist who was equally as cold. Nothing came out if the appointment other then a referral letter and I was charged 60 quid for the 10 minutes I was there. Its hard enough for woman to go to these places with their problems it makes it even harder when the staff are cold and unhelpful. Go to Liffey street clinic take the walk its much more worth it!"
"A couple of months ago I had an awful experience getting blood tests done, it began with a rushed consultation both on the phone and in person, I was nervous naturally but the doctors manner was very abrubt and I was very badly bruised because of how rough she was trying to get a vein. I went back for my second round of blood tests and requested the nurse take my bloods thank god because she was so nice, and gentle and answered all my questions gave me plenty of time to relax and having never given blood before I was really nervous. She also did my smear and that was such a positive experience too. I then got a phone call from the same doctor to recieve the bloods results, again the conversation was very rushed and I didn't fully understand at all. I eventually made a request for all my medical records and was informed that they would be available for collection. I came to collect and the receptionist on duty barely opened the door to me, and was very rude to me, seemed to have no idea what I was talking about and eventually found them in an envelope behind the counter . Other receptionists I've dealt with were so positive and friendly so I can't fault them. There seems to be a lack of communication overall and lack of consistency. Luckily I have no reason to attend this clinic anymore, the building is quite run down and the doctors office isnt much better. Avoid if you can I don't recommend this place at all !!"
"Went to get my copper coil fitted. Level of women's health care in Ireland is appalling, no gynaecologist chair or scans available unless the doctor there refers you which is pretty sad. Apart from that, the doctor was very nice during insertion and hurt as normal. Follow up visit with the nurse Emma was very reassuring, she was extreeeemely nice, answered all my questions and gave me peace of mind."
"I had my smear test here and all the booking process was pretty smooth. The nurse who did the test to me was so kind, helpful and the communication was perfect. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the process."
