"Nice village pub, friendly landlord and landlady. Dizzying array of fine gins and good real ales. Home made food excellent, had a lovely roast with great choice of veg not the standard carrots and peas. Followed up with the best Bread and Butter Pudding I've had in years. You will have to wait for your food but so you should, no pinging microwaves here, fresh and hot when served. A very reasonable price I highly recommend the Lion for all the family."

"Have visited The Edgmond Lion many times for a meal. Each time we have sampled something different from the menu and we have been impressed every time. All the food is cooked freshly on the premises and on each visit the food has been served by a very pleasant member of staff and nothing is too much trouble for them. The pub itself is in a beautiful little village, has ample car parking, a beer garden, a smoking area and a children's play field. All of the play field is visible from the beer garden so the children can be seen at all times by their parents. Talking of beers, there is a wide selection of those also. Altogether an excellent place which I love to visit and would recommend to anyone. Well done to all concerned."
