"I live local and pop in for the quiz on a Thursday or when it's nice weather sit out,The landlord and barmaids are always happy. Hot food served a few days a week. Very dog friendly pub."
"Cute little pub next to the canal and the staff are really polite. Although it's only small, there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy in the summer, although seats fill up quick due to popularity. Would reccomend for summer drinks and Oktoberfest fest too."

"As I haved passed this pub on my boat for 4 years now I can't guve this watering hole enough praise. Cask ale is kept tip top and a great choice including the local Middlewich Brewery. If you are passing get yourselves in there, great locals, friendly environment and Jack the landlord is fantastic."
