"We went today for Mothers day, my request was a nice country pub so hubby chose here, we had never been before but we will certainly be back the food was beautiful, steak cooked to perfection of what we asked(medium) and the place its self is lovely with all the old features a 300 year old place should have, so cosy and welcoming . All the staff were lovely and pleasant also. Thanks everyone we will see you soon x"

"Had the pleasure of dining here as a group on a January Sunday. The lovely staff were very accommodating, fantastic menu choice including for children and 'oldy worldy' decor just as charming as pub like this should be. The portions were really generous, all mains came at the same time and every meal delicious especially the giant fish and chips! Clean plates all round. We'll be back next time we meet family in the area - can't wait! Ps thanks also for squeezing us all in last minute."
