"Used them twice recently. First time no problem, second time this morning, didn’t turn up and I almost missed my coach. Was told driver was two minutes away twice when I rang to ask where he was. Not good enough."

"We telephoned a taxi on boxing afternoon for the following morning , for a taxi to the quadrant for 5-20 .morning . It did not show up . Telephoned the office they said it was on it’s way . Waited , telephoned again told it was in foxhole rd . Which is the bottom of our st . Did not show up . Ended up driving myself in my pyjamas to take my son to the quadrant for his coach to Gatwick . Phoned them when I came home told me they came . But obviously to late my son would have missed the coach plus his plane home . Will not be dealing again with them Apology no good if you have to travel on time ."

"Absolutely awful ordered taxi for 6.15 to turned up at 6.55 . Tried telephoning to cancel as I had missed my appointment no reply. This is not the first time this have happened. Find another taxi company as you will never get them to turn up on time."

"I’m placing this review because Eastside didn’t bother to contact me after I made a complaint. I ordered a taxi for 11am to pick me up and then go to my disabled parents house to pick them up. We wanted to go to the Vue cinema to watch Top Gun. I sat in my living room from 10.45 till 11.15 and I had no text or I kept glancing out the window but nothing came. I rang Eastside and they said the car came but there was nobody home. I asked them to send another car. The driver came at 11.50 and was very helpful. Couldn’t fault him. We couldn’t see the film as my mum has to be home by 16:00 for her treatment- so we went for dinner in Denny’s. We had a lovely afternoon out and then I ordered a taxi from Eastside to take us home. We were in Park Tawe and the taxi was only 15 mins late. It was a woman driver, who pulled up across two parking spaces and said, I quote’ oh! I went to your house this am and you weren’t there- we were extremely busy this morning and you didn’t show’ and she was quite loud and angry. Then she turned to a woman behind me who was walking her dog and started chatting with her. My dad parked his fold up mobility scooter behind the vehicle and started dismantling it whilst the driver talked to her friend. My mother struggled to get in the back seat as she’s not long had a hip replacement. I started to put in the shopping on the back seat and I noticed the car was moving forward. My mum asked me to help my dad as the driver was still talking to her friend, but she’d helped my dad to lift the bottom of the scooter into the boot and the car went forward. I told her that her handbrake wasn’t on and she went to pull it up. Fortunately my dad had pushed the scooter in and my mother had got in with out falling as the car was moving. The drivers friend left and the driver tried to help my dad put the scooter seat in the car. We all got in and I wanted to find out what had happened this am cos I wanted to apologise- but the driver talked over me and repeated what she said earlier. I told her I looked out the window and I had no text and she said that there was no sign of life at the house. She was loud and said that it was extremely busy and they didn’t need to have people who don’t show. I was really annoyed at how rude she was and that she could have caused an accident- there was a parked car in the next space and her car was rolling forward. My parents were also upset with her behaviour. We all went quiet and I looked at her taxi badge- but I couldn’t read her name as it was stuffed in the dash and the name was hidden. When I got home I rang Eastside taxi office and told them what had happened. The female controller said I would get a call the next day at11 am. So the next morning I sat by my phone From 10:45 to 11:45 and no one rang. Usually the driver’s are really good and help my dad with his scooter. This driver was only interested in talking to her friend - she hadn’t even pulled up the handbrake. I can’t believe that no- one rang me. Very dissatisfied."

"Well left stranded tonight thanks to east side cabs. Booked taxi 10.45pm and booked taxi for 12.15. Told no problem. Nothing came so I called back at 12.30 and was told sorry no booking for that time. Women on phone didn't seem to care much. Thanks east side. Thank god for my sister came to our rescue."
