"We visited on opening day. Lovely coffee house, good decor and outdoor seating. Table we sat at was too small for 2 lunch plates and pots of tea, but there are some larger at the back, the small tables really just for coffee and cake. Staff were efficient and friendly, service good. The food was quite limited we thought, mainly for a snack. Prices are as you would expect. This is a good addition to the Longton Precinct."

"Made my first visit to The Coffee House, Longton, this morning, and I have to say I'm extremely impressed. It is a very clean, comfortable and modern establishment that really sticks out in it's surroundings, very comfortable seating arrangements, It has that "trendy" upmarket feel to it, whilst keeping it's core roots and values of community at it's forefront. The server was a real credit to the business, very polite and attentive, making conversation, explaining all the options available to me, and I was served promptly and efficiently. As it was my first visit here, I indulged myself with a breakfast wrap, which was incredible, Hot fresh and super delicious. There was a decent selection of hot/cold sandwiches/baguettes/wraps, cakes, biscuits and pastries available for the sweet and savoury tooth & health intolerant and/or other personal preference. The pricing, I was expecting to be at the top end of the scale for an establishment of this quality, but I was pleasantly surprised, with my breakfast and a pot of Tea coming in at just over £6.50 There is a reward scheme in place for the die hards, but the fact you have to have a debit/credit card linked to the rewards app to collect stamps didn't sit well with me so I didn't bother. Also the free medium sized drink after collecting 10 stamps can only be redeemed as take-away which I rarely do so for me this is something that can and should be improved down the line, To cater for those who would like to sit in and relax. Overall, this is exactly what Longton has been needing for some time, and finally, now it is here, it has not disappointed. A fantastic addition to the area and one I hope that can continue to build and be successful. The only blemish being the rewards scheme as i mentioned above. Hopefully, be a benchmark for other eateries looking to set up shop in the town centre in the future."

"Had lunch here today, I believe it is their opening day. Decor very nice, outdoor seating too. Staff pleasant. The table we sat at for 2 wasnt big enough for our lunches and 2 pots of tea, its ok just for a drink and cake maybe but you would need to sit at a bigger table at the back for anything more. The food was only ok. Not as much variety as we expected, more like snack food, not much choice. Tea was nice and tea leaves not t. Bags. Will call again but probably only for coffee or tea, unless the menu changes a little."
