"I don't hate it, because they serve Costa coffee. Unorganised, very slow, miserable staff. The only plus point is they use barista machines now instead of the vending machines they used before."
"Of three coffees bought two ordinary lattes were only lukewarm and a soya milk coffee tasted unusually strange. Being Alton Towers, there was a huge queue so once we realised going back wasn't really an option. There are plenty of other coffee outlets on the park so I'd avoid this Costa in future."
"Awful, sloppy job of coffee… I get that it’s busy but it was not very good at all, ordered a crunchy caramel frostino and it didn’t even taste nice. Was warm as well. cost £5 as well!!"
"Rude and sloppy service. Waited over 20 minutes for just one coffee, only for it to be served lukewarm, requested a replacement only to have the barista look annoyed and snatch it away, with no apology or common curtesy at their mistake.. after waiting another five minutes I politely asked another member of staff if my replacement could be tracked down only to have the original batista spin around and rudely exclaim "I'm doing it", however she had been prioritising they new orders over mine and was taking her an awful long time to 'do it' the other member of staff was extremely rude and unprofessional at stating they 'couldnt just magic these things up' whilst I don't assume they have a magic wand I would expect that after placing and paying for my very small order it shouldn't take up to 20 minutes to finally be served, then a replacement shouldn't take so long thereafter, absolutely no manners no customer service and no etiquette. Terrible service in this shop, avoid!"
"Nice little coffee place near the entrance of the park. They used to have proper coffee machines and baristas but now it's push button Costa branded coffee dispensers, which make a lovely coffee but no custom milk or foam options. They sell a selection of sandwiches and cakes I recommend the caramel shortbread triangles! The only cold drinks they have here are coffees over ice. But there are plenty of nearby places with soda fountains. The seating is a combination of chairs and sofas but they do have a couple of big tea cups to sit in. There is an outdoor area too where you can hear the hypnotic songs of cbeebies land and in summer make friends with a fair few wasps. At peak times this place can get completely rammed full of people and at other times you could be the only customer, it's quite pleasant when it's the latter."
