"Enquired about a Crossfire from Chris. Very pleasant gentleman over the phone and following the reviews everywhere was confident in purchasing the car. Agreed to a fresh mot and delivery within the price. Delivery day came and the car arrived, looking good with 12 month MOT. Then I drove it and the warning lights came on. Chris was very quick to help and told me not to worry, take it in to a local garage and get it looked at following 3 or 4 niggles I noticed almost immediately. These included a loud bang i heard a-few days after purchasing, the passenger door handle being temperamental, the windows not closing properly upon shutting the door (when you finally get it open) and a warning light for the ESP/BAS. I had it in the garage and told them to liaise with Chris to sort the problems out (3 would’ve failed the MOT at my garage, including back brakes being beyond knackered and wobbling and the track rod end boots split) he would be paying personally or sorting through the warranty. I didn’t want to be involved due to the fact I was owed for the diagnostics (and still am despite it being Chris’ obligation as he sold a car with problems). Near a month of back and forth and arguing I decided to initiate sending the car back within my 30 day period as I am entitled to as the repairs weren’t getting anywhere, and Chris had refused to pay for any alterations to the door as he considered the ‘matter closed?’ Chris also denied the statutory right to send it back, and also refused to collect it (which legally speaking, he needed to). The garage finished the works and I’ve heard no more from Chris. I still have some problems with the door, and the track rod end boots. I’m having to chase up these myself and try to find a garage who will do these under the warranty as Chris either wasn’t interested in talking about problems that occurred due to age related matters or because he didn’t want to pay (diagnostics). An expensive lesson that garages aren’t always the sure safe way to buy a car. TL;DR Nice bloke, sure he had good intentions and runs a mostly honest business. Bad experience with mixed feelings on resolution. Some issues still not sorted and will have to chase myself to even more expense. 2/5."

Booked in for two tricky runflat tyre changes and air con regas. Found the whole thing pleasant, friendly and welcoming- they did a great job and quick turnaround. If you are looking in St Neots for a honest garage don't hesitate to use this company."
