Welcome to Ysgol Gynradd Cwmafan Primary School. Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Cwmafan, our school is a wonderful place for children to learn, grow and flourish. As an establishment and point of interest in the community, we are proud to be a primary school that provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children ages 4 to 11 years old.

Our school is located on School Terrace, Cwmafan in Port Talbot, and this is where our classrooms, playgrounds and other facilities are situated. Our aim is to ensure that our pupils are happy, confident and successful learners, and our experienced, dedicated and skilled teaching staff work closely with children to support them academically, socially and emotionally.

Our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of all our pupils, and we offer a wide range of experiences and opportunities that help to develop the whole child. Our subjects include literacy, numeracy, science, art, history, geography, music, physical education and Welsh language development, which is an important part of our identity.
