"Brilliant little studio showing productions from the University students. A great evening of entertainment for little money. Perhaps get to see stars of the future!"
"Went to see the 2 nights of the UEA drama soc Spotlights Festival here, holds around 100 people, small foyer, not a lot in the way of audience facilities but the seats are comfortable for a few hours. (as an aside, both nights were excellent and well worth the £8 paid)"
"Nestling at the midway point between what passes in Norfolk as the top a hill and the bottom of its adjacent valley, the UEA Drama Studio, a triumph in prestressed cast concrete, is home to the internationally acclaimed Singing Norwich Sugared Troglodytes and the Dancing Cats of Doom. Characterised and distinctive by their cloaks of shimmering beige, the troupe live exclusively on lemon curd sandwiches with a side of chunks of Danish Blue cheese. This does have unfortunate gastric consequences, but we will pass quickly over that and add that the conveniences are of the highest possible standard. Oddly enough the building contains within an auditorium of Arctic temperature, necessary to satisfy the dignity of the Troglodyte Queen, who expands fourfold in all directions when the HRT stops working. The full moon sees the building bathed in a meringue of Norfolk Dumpling as Troglodytes from across the county gather to hurl dumplings while reciting the Hymn to the File Flonk. By dawn all dumplings are translated to the area below the stage to rest till the bloom of green is deep enough to be scraped into the brass vat from which pours the the emerging nectar served at Xmas to the Dean and his family."
