Jackie was lovely and so understanding as we were late arriving due to traffic. The room was lovely and clean, bed was very comfortable and there was fresh milk for tea and coffee which rates very highly for me. Breakfast was lovely and loads of it. Really present stay."
"We were made to feel very welcome at The Pelican. It is a very old building with a homely feel. The large farmhouse kitchen, where a self- service breakfast is available is most relaxing.There is a large outdoor seating area too. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. "Exceptionally clean. The pub itself is now closed but the large breakfast area still has the feeling of being a pub, having breakfast in your own private pub is an experience in itself as well as having the beer garden to yourself whilst having an afternoon tea. Hosts extremely welcoming."
