"Friendly accommodating staff. Planned to stay for 1 night but stayed for 3 as my wife had to stay in the nearby hospital. When she was discharged (after an operation) they changed my room to a room downstairs with two singles on my request. Such kindness. Happy Christmas to all the lovely staff."
"Helpful staff. Clean room. But having booked a room with disabled access we found that bathroom had a bath and no walk in shower! How ridiculous to be informed that every travel lodge bathroom doesn't cater for disabled people who like myself can't climb into a bath! Shame on them! The staff were very apologetic and said this happens all the time. Come on travel lodge. Start making disabled people's travel experiences better!"
"Spent two nights here as we had a family funeral not far away. Its a bed for the night with no restaurant or lounge so no breakfast on site or anywhere to sit and chat outside your room, so no fifth star. A burger king and a McDonald's provide a quick option for breakfast though. Overall very clean and very tidy and the reception staff very helpful. Although close to the busy A47 and A11 there was no noise from those and we enjoyed a couple of quiet nights."
"Unfortunately a bit of a disappointing stay at the hotel. We arrived around 6pm and was met with a strong smell of cannabis from the car park. The person at reception was very welcoming and friendly so can't fault that. We saw a few tradespeople at the hotel and there was a definite smell of cigarettes and sweat in the corridor. Upon entering our room, it was basic but relatively clean. Some of the bedding had a strange smell but not necessarily unclean. Tried to run a bath in the morning and the water was lukewarm at best, so ended up having a very quick and unsatisfying shower! One of the windows didn't close properly and I was surprised that the door didn't double lock from the inside. We paid just over £70 a night so not expensive but would have expected a little more for our money. The hotel could do with a general update but I appreciate that it might not be financially feasible. There is a couple of fast food places & petrol station close by which is handy."
"A very basic hotel. Despite the company having the pricing policy and online charm of Ryanair the service is very acceptable, staff are really nice and if you want to visit this part of Norwich it's ideal, it's in the middle of the countryside so there are opportunities for walks. Dog friendly too, but you pay a £20 premium for it. The room was spacious and comfortable, as was the king sized bed. The bathroom was also large with a small bath but a decent sized sink and a good, easy to use shower in the bath. Cleainess of both bedroom and shower was excellent There's a petrol station and McDonald's on site so it's a good emergency acomodation too. ,"
