"Lovely place with freshly cooked food and friendly service"
"Great place for breakfast. Very tasty, everything you would expect for a good plate full. Well presented. Lovely kind staff. Then you can go buy some well looked after plants. Great place to visit. Thanks"
"We had Fish Chips Garden Peas & Tartare Sauce The seating area was very clean and the food well presented The meal cooked perfectly the fish coated in a crispy light batter. Thank You Chef also excelent service by the waiters All at a reasonable cost. What more can you ask. We throughly enjoyed our Friday lunch in delightful surroundings. We will most definitely be back Martin & Jacqui."
"Lovely setting but quality of the food, drink and service was poor given the higher price. The cakes did look good though. My main complaint is the coffee. Which was VERY poor. Working as a barista for 3 years, one year spent in Melbourne, I have to say the coffee was one of the worst tasting coffee I've had here. The Americano had no crema and was virtually dishwater. For a smaller size of £2.65 I was very disappointed. The cooked breakfast was average with the mushrooms being the cheap white variety which were very greasy. The breakfast was average. The sausage was fairly pleasant. The service was particulary poor. Unfortunately there were two very young cafe members who provided no service and were very timid. Notably plonking the food down with no interaction with the customer. The environment feels a little cheap, notably the quality of the tables and the crockery. Similarly, it can be noisey as the seating area is small for the number of tables. In short, this is a 'Builders cafe' masquaring as a farm shop cafe. The little garden centre is cute and the ducks are amusing. Would not eat here again."
