"I am utterly devastated at the fact that when we had a copy made to the front door in the hardware store yesterday, the new key broke the entire safety lock to our next door property. Prior to this incident, the Hardware store owner highly recommended a locksmith to call to our house during the lockdown.The locksmith had no idea on how to replace a kitchen door door handle. He should have never touched the front door of our home as there was nothing wrong with it. He went ahead and did something to it which caused further problems to the door. He was aiming at making more money for himself during his visit. Instead of simply changing the handle for the kitchen door, he managed to convince us that there was a problem with the exterior door just to make 300 euro for himself. As a consequence, we had a nasty experience as he damaged the front door. We are still suffering the consequences now. The moment we insert the key into the lock, the door seems to jam. We had no idea up to that point that was not the place to have any copies made or get their advice about doors. What happened yesterday was unbelievable as the copy of the key made to the next door property caused further havoc and now we are facing a whole new dilemma as the whole door might need replacement. The cost of fixing or changing the door is beyond our budget. When we called Mr. X to call back few days later during the lockdown as there was a thick sharp metal prong sticking out of door handle , he refused to do so. There was no guarantee with the work done. Now both of my front door homes have been compromised by simply walking into Knocklyon hardware store."
