"This is the best decision we ever made for our children. Our children have never been educated like this before and what a positive difference it has made. We have three boys who attend here. They have been challenged, they have progressed, they have been nurtured and given the best possible balance of education and natural growth in this setting. They are all achieving high standards of results and my oldest finished in July 2022 with two scholarships to another school. Sompting Abbotts not only educate your children they care about their growth and meeting each individual child’s potential. The ethos and the feeling you get from attending here is like that of a big family, everyone is made welcome. The extra time spent here (years 7 & 8) gives each child the time to develop naturally without any peer pressure to “grow up” and this is such a luxury to have and means they can be children just that little bit longer. Allowing them to enjoy the acres of land and play. This in itself is a priceless commodity. The staff are engaging and having different teachers for different subjects allows for a greater depth of knowledge which is inevitably passed onto the children. This means the lessons are tailored to the class and with the small class sizes they can really engage and interact with the children increasing their knowledge and understanding much more effectively. The variety of sports that the children participate in is a stark contrast from the state school my children attended before. They play rugby, football, hockey, cricket, swimming and more. The cross country running is a favourite in our house. The ease of parking at Sompting Abbotts and the luxury of wraparound care before and after school at no additional cost means it works very well for working parents like us to get to work on time too. The extra curricular activities within these times are many but in our house it is all about table tennis and chess. We would recommend Sompting Abbotts to anyone considering a change of school or a school for the first time. Once you go there you will fall I love with it."

"The school offers a curriculum that includes IT, coding and computing, art, PE, music and drama. It prepares children for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) and for other scholarship examinations to public senior schools. As of 2017 it cites a 100% success rate in the CEE since 2008 and 95% success rate for all pupils entered for a scholarship since 2008. The school is not a designated feeder school to any specific senior school. It states that staff take a personal approach to each child to determine in what senior school environment they will flourish best according to their interests and abilities. The main destination senior schools to which pupils have gained scholarships, exhibitions and awards since 2007 include Lancing College, Brighton College, Hurstpierpoint College, Seaford College, Sherborne, Worth, Dulwich College, Farlington, Burgess Hill Girls and Towers Convent School."

"My daughter just loves school at Sompting Abbotts and even misses school during the holidays! This is mostly down to the great teachers they have working there, who know how to best engage with each individual child and bring out the best in them. The grounds are fantastic, lots of space for the children to roam and good sports equipment too. Musical abilities are encouraged and tailored to each child. The fact that wrap around care (before and after school) is provided has also been so beneficial for us. There's a wonderful family friendly atmosphere so the children feel comfortable, this is balanced well with professionalism and respect for all. I highly recommend this school for your child."

"I have three children at this school from nursery to year 4. They moved from a local school where I couldn't see them progressing in the way that I knew they were capable. They are all enjoying Sompting Abbotts as they are doing fun science experiments, lots of sports activities and making dens in the grounds with their friends.
