"Brighton Girls has changed my Daughter's life around. Being in a school where they focus on each girl being an individual, in a secure, safe setting, enables each child to full fill their true potential. The dedication of all the teachers with their House system with the addition of all the clubs they provide = A winning school! thank you for all you do."
"After careful consideration as to where we should send our daughter to secondary school, my husband and I decided on Brighton Girls, and three years later we have not once regretted the decision. Our daughter has taken advantage of all the school has to offer and, it seems like she has a very exciting day, every day. This week, amongst her academic lessons, she has participated in a hockey tournament, been to see a West end production and has rehearsed for a Shakespeare competition. Brighton Girls is a progressive and exciting school that seems to instil confidence and a 'can do' attitude into its students. My daughter is very happy there and that is really what matters."
"Our daughters joined mid-way through Prep school years, with one currently in the Prep and one in the Senior school. Whilst it's a real benefit to them being in smaller classrooms, one of the best parts is the sport, music, art and dance options they have access to from an early age. It allows them to get their 'high-fives' beyond the classroom, helping them grow in confidence in the areas they love. It's also lovely how well the teachers get to know the girls, supporting them as individuals. The parents are a great, down-to-earth lot too!"
"My daughter joined Brighton Girls after being asked to leave her previous school as in their opinion she wouldn't meet their academic expectations. This had a huge impact on my daughter's confidence. From the moment she started at the junior school, the Head and all her teachers, encouraged and supported my daughter to build her confidence and for her to believe in herself despite her learning differences with Dyslexia. Her love of sport was fostered and she was part of the swimming, netball, hockey & athletics teams. The smaller class sizes certainly helped & a specialist Dyslexic teacher was brought in to provide further assistance academically. She moved up to the senior school and the excellent pastoral care continued. All my daughter's teachers were aware of her differences and made adaptations for her in class and when providing homework. Throughout her schooling at Brighton Girls the staff were extremely proactive in assisting my daughter and listening to her needs. They also took time to listen to our concerns about our daughter and supported us through challenging times. It is a testament to the teachers encouragement that my daughter passed all her exams and left Brighton Girls with her head held high. I can not thank the school enough for treating her with care and respect and making her feel valued throughout her time as a student."
"I have 2 daughters at Brighton Girls (one now at university). The level of pastoral care is brilliant but the real benefit has been how engaged the teachers are with students. They drill into what drives girls and encourage and build confidence at a time in their lives when this can be lacking. And it's not about results it's about taking a young girl and sculpting them into young confident happy young women."
