"I took my elderly, wheelchair bound Dad for a haircut. After driving around for about an hour in Saturday traffic, we came across the D16 Barbers. They were very nice and efficient. Thank you guys we will be back!"
"Owner got this honest review removed as spam, instead of responding, or sacking the bad barber. That's the mentality of a deservedly failing barber's shop. I was becoming a regular over the past year. The male barbers do a fine job. However, I had the misfortune of drawing the female barber today, the same one mentioned in the only other one-star review, unsurprisingly. It was a fine day, so I managed to engineer myself a short break from work in a quiet hour, around 2:30pm on a Friday, to fit in a haircut for the weekend. I found the shop with one competent barber working meticulously on the sole client, one female barber doing nothing, and no queue. Said barber told me she would be with me presently. I thanked her and sat down. She proceeded to walk outside the shop, after all, it was a sunny day, and smoke a cigarette while talking on her phone. I tried to be understanding, thinking perhaps she had been too busy to get her break before I arrived, so I waited until she finished. Problem was, she didn't. She continued her phonecall. So, I thought, perhaps she has a sick relative, or some other worry? But no, she was laughing away, simply having a natter with some other presumably equally diligent and industrious female. I'd have been paying her the recently increased price of 24 euros for a haircut she frankly did not look like she could have delivered, even if she had wanted to do some work. Five minutes of her smoking and cackling, ten minutes of her wagging her jaw in the sun, that was fifteen minutes of mine wasted on a busy day. But, it seems, one barber there thinks her time which you are paying for is more valuable than yours, the customer. She should really up the price again if she is as good as she seems to think she is. Stick a few zeros on the end. I stood up and left, to find a more considerate, and less ignorant barber, who might actually be suited to working in the service industry. I understand from the other review she is the manageress of the business. Fairly ironic appointment, as she is only managing to undo the good work the other two barbers do there, and reduce the customer base. Good luck. You will need it. I won't be back. I will be advising friends not to frequent the shop, and I strongly advise other gentlemen reading this to give it a miss and all. Go somewhere where you are sure to get a great haircut, and be treated with respect."
"Archived an amazing hair cut from D16 barbers, havnt been here in a good 10 years and how it has improved, the decor, staff and good buzz in the shop was great. Had few minutes wait but staff where friendly the whole time. Will 100% come back and I would advise others to venture down."
