"Lovely ladies working there. However, i have expected a very professional shellac manicure. They should change the prices for the beginners to 30 euros. I would only pay 40 euros for a really professional one. I will definitely come back but pick an experienced manicurist. Unfortunately my second time here was worse than the first one. I got my shellac removed but still have bits on my nails. I’ve paid 20 euros for removing the shellac and shape my nails. The shape was terrible, had to reshape them when I got home. For some nails it was too late. I’ve asked for a soft square but she chopped off the angles. I went to this salon based on the reviews but this is not professional… or maybe I have high expectations… I really hope next time I get someone with experience. I’m very disappointed so far. It seems that the girls have no manicure qualifications. I’m giving 2 stars because the staff is nice. After posting this review the owner called me shouting at me that I’m destroying her business with my review and she cancelled my next appointment which is fair enough given both parties were unhappy. The owner also patronized me saying that I have hurt the feelings of the staff by saying they are not qualified. There was no refund, no apologies. She also said my nails were “grand”. My nails should look fabulous after paying for them NOT “grand”. Again, this call that I have received showed the lack of professionalism. I’m trying to be fair with all the reviews I give BUT the staff looking after the nails is not professional, meaning you don’t get professional nails but ordinary nails done by someone with no experience. Also nobody sterilized the tools before using them. Not under my eyes anyway. 2 stars for the aesthetics of the salon and friendly staff (not the owner)."

"Any time I have gotten my nails done in Sparkle, they have lasted for 2 or more weeks without so much as a chip. It's the only salon that has managed to achieve that for me because my nails are so brittle and tear really easily. Nicole does them every time, she's so quick but her attention to detail is amazing."
