"I wish I had seen the reviews prior to getting this company to fit new kitchen worktops. Installation was delayed twice due to a delay in getting the materials. When they did turn up I went into the kitchen halfway through and the fitter asked if I thought it looked good… I replied that it did, however it was not the finish we ordered! I showed the fitter a photo of the samples I was shown (luckily I’d taken a photo to send to my husband) including the one I picked and he agreed it was the wrong one! We contacted quartzize immediately who came back and said we signed the sample. They sent us a photo of our signature on the sample… which was nothing like the finish that had been installed! They advised that it says in the contract the actual installation may differ. I checked the contract which says minor differences. The one we had picked had a marble effect, the one that was installed was speckled and gold. If I could attach a photo to the review I would. It wasn’t awful, however it wasn’t what we ordered! We went on the website and the finish we had ordered had been removed, so obviously they hadn’t been able to source it and had substituted this different finish. As other reviews have stated, we repeatedly tried to call/email quartzize and the customer service was the worst I’ve experienced, from no replies to actually laughing on the call!!! We also, similar to other reviews had drawers that wouldn’t close and there’s also an overhang on our island which they just advised happens… Also it is completely mis sold as being stain resistant - ours is constantly stained with anything remotely coloured - tea is the worst stain to try and remove! Also a blue colour is constantly present on the edges. When we contacted them about this they advised they would send someone out to clean it and that the blue is from our jeans (we do not always wear jeans and they are not new!). I said they had missed the point that it was supposed to be stain resistant, to which they said we should use a cleaner such as pink stuff to try and get rid of the stains! Also it’s sold as a natural stone, but the fitter said “well you get this with manmade surfaces” so who knows what it actually is!! The whole experience was horrendous and in the end I’ve just given up arguing with them as was getting nowhere!"
"I wish I had never heard of this company. Unprofessional and terrible customer service. No one returns calls, left with gapping hole under my sink, missed installation date, delivered wrong size sink. Thankfully I paid using my credit card so now applying for full refund."
"I had carerra marble overlays fitted plus a new sink. First time they came they had measured everything wrong so couldn’t fit the new items despite taking off my upstands, sink etx. 2 weeks later they came again, worktops didn’t turn up until 2 in the afternoon. The fitter finished it the following evening. Rookie mistake by me for not checking every drawer and door would open. 4 drawers would not open Sink wobbling and leaking Worktop not level Filler coming out Filler not put on places it needed it I had to ring this company approx 20 times before someone actually came out - 3 weeks later!!! Sink still not fixed I had to get someone else out to do it and now I have filler coming out from where the upstand connects to the worktop Every single mark shows on the worktops even wiping over with a damp cloth and buffing makes no difference Awful company, would never recommend to anyone"
"Terrible company stay well clear. Its been over five months now and we still have a kitchen that's damaged, has doors rubbing and falling off and draws that won't open. That's just some of the problems. They has such a high turn over of staff that you seem to never email the same person and have to start over again and again explaining what's wrong with the kitchen. The original pair of, well I won't say fitters where cheap contract labour who just rushed to get the job done and basically did nothing to any sort of standard. Next another fitter, this time a full time employee came in and condemned the Kitchen saying non of the tops have been done right. So we got another team in who changed all the work tops. They looked better but still not the the £8000 standard we expected. All the gloss black doors where scratched, some fell off, 2 draws wouldn't open and most of the doors rubbed on each other when opened. During this last visit it was found that the taps to one sink had not been tightened and had leaked ruining the cabinet with all the chip board swelling. They damaged my vehicle opening their van door on it and even though its on camera still won't pay for the damage. Total kitchen price now £8500! Five months have passed and if it wasn't for me stopping the credit card payment I'm sure they wouldn't even be answering my emails. Our old kitchen lasted 22 years with one problem. I'm sure this kitchen won't last 2 years and has many problems. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY."
"Terrible, unprofessional service. We had our kitchen worktops overlayed with stone back in March 2022. Initially we were very pleased with the work, but after a time the filling between the surfaces came out and we contacted the Company to have a repair done. The fitters came around the 14 June but said filling the gap would not solve the problem as the two surfaces were no longer aligned and a more effective repair was needed. They said they would make a report to the Company. Another visit, we thought to fix the problem, was arranged for the evening of 24 August. They failed to turn up and after contacting the office they said the fitters had been delayed on the job but would call the next evening. They finally turned up to, wait for it, fill the gap. I explained the previous inspection had identified a structural misalignment and a more detailed repair was needed. I asked if that information had been given to the Company. They said they didn't know so I asked them to go away and submit a detailed report of their visit and the previous one. At this stage I would point out that from the first sign of the problem we had made numerous calls to Quartzize. After repeated calls the Company arranged for new surfaces to be fitted on 15 September and the manager told me we would be first on the fitters schedule. I had another call when they asked if we could take delivery of the surfaces on 14th September, again assuring us we would be first on the list. Which brings us to today. At 10.30 with no sign of the delivery we were once again forced to contact them and they explained there were two extra deliveries and our estimated delivery would now be between 2 and 4 pm. We have our daughter visiting us from abroad and organised our day in line with the first delivery promise. AGAIN, I rang Quartzize and asked to speak to the manager who had arranged for the refit. However he was on "annual leave" so was unavailable. I said this was not good enough and asked to speak to another manager. They said they would call us back when a manager was available. Nothing. I called again and while they explained someone would get back to us I heard children laughing and playing in the background. I told them I just couldn't believe a word they said and hung up. The background noises from the last call would indicate this was a company operating from a residential address and using local fitters and delivery firms. In other words an unprofessional organisation with limited resources. Now if they finally complete the job for which we have paid up front and in full, then I will return to the review and confirm. It is now up to them. I have to say if the fitting goes well then this Company is fine, but if there are problems, which occur from time to time with any domestic installers, I could not in all honesty recommend this outfit. I am very disappointed and I suppose disgusted with their service."
