"They replaced my clutch master/slave cylinder on my Honda CRV in 2021. Then recently my clutch master cylinder failed. I called them as these replacement parts should last longer than a year and half. They refused to treat it as the same issue as before. They were also very arrogant and rude as well as having a two week back log (hire more people maybe). I ended up doing it myself and found they had installed the slave cylinder incorrectly with the push rod in backwards. I'm not sure if this caused the recent master cylinder to fail or not. Update: 10 May 2022 Yes you are correct that I got the year wrong but the timeline is correct. While that may be the manufacturer warrantee it was installed incorrectly which I provided a picture of both how it should be and how it was installed by your shop. Certainly you own and correct your mistakes and that would be the first suspect in troubleshooting how the master cylinder failed. You say it's an impossibility that the push rod was installed incorrectly. You might be right yet you guys managed to do just that I also rang you as you suggested. You said you were going into a meeting and call me back. Four days later and I haven't heard from you. I've done the heavy lifting and replaced the master/ slave. The clutch itself seems fine but can't get pressure in the system. I would appreciate you owning your mistake and get this working for no extra charge. Update May 14: Still no call back. Update May 27th: Still no call back. I've texted asking if they are going to fix my car or not. Update May 27th: So Ross calls me back. Refuses to fix my car. Claims its impossible to put in the slave cylinder wrong. Claims the push rod comes in already. I can verify that's not true as my slave cylinder came with the push rod outside the cylinder inside the box. I looked up online to make sure I was putting it in right. Then Ross proceeds to threaten me with legal action if I don't stop "harrassing" them on google."
