"Warm friendly service. Lots to see for the whole family. Locally produced apple juice and cider to buy - a must! A superb bakery with freshly baked treats - delicious croissant varieties. Silversmith shop with exquisite items. Walking trails through this scenic area are very popular. A very special place to visit. Highly recommended."
"Fantastic day out. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Fascinating glimpse at the areas history, some lovely animals, beautiful location.. just can't recommend enough!"
"My son age 15 and I spent an enjoyable 2 hrs here. He had a delicious freshly made lamb burger in the tea room, then we walked around the mill, museum, saw geese, ducks, chickens and goats (take 20p for duck seed). It's much larger than it looks from the car park. It's £4 to park all day, but this is included if you buy tickets for the heritage centre and for us this was just £9, so great value for money. There were several tours throughout the day of the mill, but we decided to just see it for ourselves. We both said how much we enjoyed it. I expect on weekends there's even more to see, we visited on a Monday."
"We absolutely love this place, it's a little gem. So much information and lots of things to look at. The kids love the park and animals, the chicks were just hatching which was amazing to watch. Take 20p to feed the ducks some food, they eat out of your hand! It hasn't changed much since I went there as a child, a place stopped in time. The park has been updated and the sand is lovely! And the little tractors the kids can go on too are a bit hit! I cannot recommend this place enough for a real educational visit for the whole family!"
