"The proprietor was extremely helpful and there is a beautiful range of clothes."
"Visited shop today for the first time after looking in the window at the sale items on Sunday afternoon. Was made to feel welcome and felt free to check out all the reduced stock. Lots of beautiful clothes, bargain shoes and bags!"
"Hi I was in the shop when Sophie’s mother was trying on her mother of the bride outfit and overheard the telephone conversations between her and the owner and also with the owner’s husband. Trevor was particularly rude in my opinion and no help was forthcoming to this lady who was clearly upset and just wanted the dress less a contribution towards its repair. The way the lady was treated just put me off. I left the shop without a purchase and will not return. The owner and her husband need to review their customer care."
"I visited this shop last week with my mum. She had tried a dress on here in the summer, which she loved, but unfortunately a few threads had pulled on the dress. As the dress was for a special occasion (my wedding, so a Mother of the Bride outfit for her). The shop were helpful and told her that, although they could not order a new one in at the time - as it was the end of the season, they could order another one in for the next season. The owner of the shop was apparently very helpful between times and told my mum the new dress was back in stock and she would hold the dress she wanted, in her size if she paid £100 deposit. My mum did this and we both travelled up to Nantwich from London a couple of weeks later. My mum was very excited to try on this dress and I was really excited to have an enjoyable day out with her. When she tried on the dress, however, she realised there were still a few threads that were pulled and, naturally, she was very disappointed. The dress was available in a different colour in the same size, but not in the same colour. The lady working in the shop (I did not get her name unfortunately) was extremely unhelpful and did not seem to understand the problem. I'm not sure if this was simply due to her being uncaring or the fact that her English was rather poor. As the lady in the shop was not being helpful my mum asked if she could speak to the owner, who was not in that day as she had a cold. My mum spoke to her on the phone, she apologised but said the only real solution was to either re-order it and rely on the dress being posted to London or come back a few days later (which would not have worked as we were heading down to London on the Sunday). My mum was really disappointed that she had travelled all this way and found the whole experience to be quite upsetting. She once again asked to speak to the owner of the shop to check there was really no alternative option. At this point we were put through to the owner of the shop's husband, Trevor. The conversation with Trevor, which was put on loud speaker by the lady managing the shop that day, was heard by everyone in the shop (several other customers). He was extremely rude, almost shouting at my mother, telling us there was nothing they could do so we could either 'take it or leave it.' My mum explained her predicament to Trevor, and the shop manager again - that either she walked away without the dress and relied on them refunding her deposit (they could not apparently do that in store) OR she left without the dress and relied on them posting it to her at a later date - which, naturally, she was reluctant to do, given the fact that on two occasions the dress had been snagged. Eventually Trevor agreed to take 10% off the dress, which we agreed to. This should cover the cost of repairing the damage to the jacket (plus the time taken to get it repaired). However, we left Daniella's with a bitter taste in our mouth. Whilst Daniella may have a couple of nice dresses in there, they clearly have a problem with customer service. The lady left in charge that day was incompetent and unhelpful and Trevor's behaviour and the way in which he spoke to us was downright rude. One thing I would mention is that there was a very helpful lady in the shop who had started that day. She did her best to manage the situation and was a credit to the, otherwise abysmal, team."
"Very helpful. Lovely ladies. Only down side small changing room but not huge issue.... will send photos after the wedding in August as promised x"
