"hired a hilti wall chaser, they also done a good deal on extraction hover and 110v transformer. unfortunately the chaser was sent out with worn cutting discs. being a sunday i had no choice but to use it. The chaser would only cut to a depth of 25mm. i needed 35mm. i checked the spec and it should have gone to a depth of 40mm. i then had to spend a additional 6 hours chiselling the extra 10mm. not easy. I took everything back to jewsons and explained what happened. the hire manager said new discs would have only given me a extra10mm depth. i will let you do the maths..he said he would give me a discount which seemed fair. when i got the invoice they had increased the hire charges to cover the discount. to cut a long story short i then spent the next hour haggling over the costs. it all seemed a bit tinpot TBO. a fair outcome would have been a full refund and a apology. i recommend you check everything you hire before you leave.."
