"A fantastic pub. Just good people enjoying a great pint. 2023 update: Went back again.. multiple times.. and just as great as last time. There's nothing wrong with visiting Temple Bar and sitting in a pub that looks like Bag-End with a bunch of tourists...really, that's okay, no judgements here. But if you want to take a break from all that and have a quiet pint with normal good folks, then this is your spot."
"Presently surprised in here. It looked like a pub 'for locals only', but we were made very welcome. The guy behind the bar (can't remember his name) had a good chat with us about 'where to go in Dublin'. We enjoyed a quick pint in here"
"You must go here if you’re looking for a local pub. Great spot to people watch, catch some sports, and slam some pints with the boys. Fair warning…I’d strip a few layers before going in here or you’ll sweat a liter."
"Sitting here on a Friday night. Watching everyone know everyone. Some fella walking out and coming back in with food. All the thanks were given. Sons feeding fathers...mothers feeding sons.. All are fed and watered. After 16 years of being out of this country..this is what I miss. Asking for my lighter so she can go for a smoke in the Jack's.. don't stop Dublin...."
