"Terrific 5* service from Mark and his team..my worst nightmare happened when our car developed an unexpected engine fault well away from home…RAC called and found the fault and recommended Spencer’s for helping get it sorted…. "A relative sent me an EDP article about a customer service award that Spencers MOT & Service Centre Norwich had received, since I'd previously had a bad servicing experience with a different garage. This was good timing since a cover underneath my car was coming loose and I was also experiencing problems with the engine fan. I booked it in with Spencers to look at. I found the receptionist to be friendly, professional, efficient and knowledgeable about my problem. When I took the car in I'd mentioned that I was concerned about COVID-19 so the mechanic put a cover on my seat, wore a mask whilst working in the car and disinfected the car afterwards. He then fixed the cover in place and carried out some diagnostics on the fan. He said not to worry about the fan, explained why the noise might be happening and to come back if the issue gets more frequent. When I asked about payment, he said the work he'd carried out was free! I was absolutely gob smacked. I was very happy with the service provided, the thought that had gone in to keep me safe and the kindness and professionalism of the mechanic. Many other garages might have taken the opportunity to change the fan and to profit from this. I was very appreciative of the honesty. I will definitely take my car to Spencers for my next MOT and service. It is good to see a company adhering to old fashioned values, whilst also providing a high level of service."
