"I’ve not had a bad experience with the staff at this shop. I have been going there for 4 years now and every time the server has been friendly."
"Great little local shop, friendly staff."
"Rude owner, told me he doesn’t care if I’m exempt from wearing a mask his shop his rules. Why do we have government/COVID laws when people can be rude and ignore them. Being exempt means you have a real reason to not being able to wear a mask. Disgraceful!"
"Went to buy tobacco and the woman said ‘I’m not serving you’. I then said would you like to see my ID before saying I’m not serving you. I put my ID on the counter and then i explained I’m not from round here and she said she has not seen me before therefor does that mean I cant get served?!? She then put my ID back on the counter and said it’s not me and It does not look anything like me. Overall the woman at the counter and people who run the shop have a very unwelcoming attitude and shows little respect for people who go into in the shop."
"Unfortunately I have had a very bad experience in this shop. Clearly the shop assistant has been very racist and rude with me. I wanted to buy a bottle of champagne to celebrate with my partner. I had my passport with me so when she asked my identification I could be able to provide that I am 25 years old. The picture in my passport (as it is a new one) definitely show I am the owner of it. But the shop assistant told me very rudly that she can not identified me and it is not my passport. I tried to talk with her but she ignored me and said she can not understand what I am talking. I know as English is my second language I have an accent but people can be able to understand me because I can speak English. It was very embarrassing and was very obvious to me that I wasnt served just because I am foreign. In the future I definitely won't go back there."
