"My first time in the Alacati, wanted to go for a while...... Wow!, amazing place, to start the host is very friendly and accommodating, the waiting staff are attentive and friendly too. The food is fantastic, well presented and tasted soooo good. There were 2 birthday groups whilst we were there and a real fuss was made of them. The whole atmosphere was electric. Top marks guys"

"Visited on a quiet evening, a Tuesday night. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, warm and inviting, and very clean. Staff were immediately very accommodating, we arrived with a 3yo and a 6 month old baby and were given a kid's chair. The food was very prompt (although we were the only customers at the time), it was all piping hot and fresh. The flavours were well beyond what we expected. Excellent preparation, presentation and flavours. Portion sizes were just a tad smaller than I had hoped, but I was satisfied after one starter, one main and sharing a dessert. Prices are elevated to meet the level of flavour and presentation, but you are getting what you pay for. Whole meal was a class act, not been at peak times but go on a quiet night and you won't regret it. We spent £80 including tips for two adults and one child. The Baklava is absolutely fire and the chilli sauce is awesome too."

"For those craving Turkish food, look no further than Alacati; while Daventry might seem like a surprising location for such a place, I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive service, speedy cooking and quality of the food. I ate quite a lot but a couple can easily have a great meal for £40-50 with a drink or two. The owner Ata also works in the kitchen himself, so you can be sure that whatever is served has been given plenty of care because he is a gem of a man and clearly wants to give his customers a good experience. A couple of small improvement suggestions: 1) The tables towards the entrance get a little cold. 2) Consider a mix mezze platter for one - I had to limit myself to just two even though I wanted to try them all!"
