"A friend has kindly been picking up suppliers for me since February and charming Trent at the Lewes branch wouldn't permit him to collect order number 34 today, refusing to serve him and even hung up the phone with me! Great customer service NOT, refusing to verify me over the phone and fully expected me to make the 40 mile round trip to produce ID for an account purchase! Strange as other purchases have been over the magic £100 order value and it begs the question why be so rude and awkward, prompting other customers to insist on my friend being served and waiting their turn in the queue? Trent civility costs nothing, behaving in this way with an audience damages Screwfix's reputation and yours. Screwfix's product offering is not unique but their point of sale is, just not tonight."
